Accounting for the Future: An Introduction to Sustainability Reporting

About Angela: Angela Wheeler Spencer joined the School of Accounting faculty at Oklahoma State University in 2006 after completing her Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas. She currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, including courses on accounting tools and technology and accounting theory. She also serves as the coordinator of the undergraduate accounting program and holds the Haskell Cudd Professorship and Lanny G. Chasteen Chair. Angela’s research primarily focuses on issues related to financial reporting, including sustainability accounting and off-balance-sheet entities. She has published work in both research publications, such as The Accounting Review, and practitioner-focused publications, such as The CPA Journal. She is also the recipient of teaching awards at the local and national levels. Angela maintains an active CPA license in both Oklahoma and Arkansas.
