    • Examine foundational ethical theories and apply them to real-world accounting and leadership scenarios. 
    • Identify how stress, cognitive overload, workplace culture, and performance pressure can influence ethical judgment and decision-making. 
    • Recognize patterns of ethical drift and rationalization that can emerge in high-performing organizational environments. 
    •  Apply practical strategies to strengthen ethical leadership, professional skepticism, accountability, and decision-making in today’s evolving workplace.

  • Speaker Bio: Dr. Megan Weinkauf is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Northeastern State University with professional experience in accounting, operations, transformational leadership, and ERP systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, an MBA, and a Master of Accountancy. Her recent workplace trauma research was featured in the Oklahoma Society of CPAs CPAFocus magazine, and she frequently speaks on ethics, workplace culture, neuroscience, transformational leadership, and the future of accounting in the age of AI.

CPE Credits are based on a 50-minute hour. State boards of accounting have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Attendee accepts responsibility to determine if course meets acceptable guidelines set forth by their reporting authority. Make sure to sign in at the registration table. CPE certificates will only be issued to attendees that have signed in. 
CPE certificates and an event evaluation will be issued via email within 48 hours after the event. 

If you are not feeling well on the day of the event, please let us know and you are welcome to switch to the Zoom presentation. 


Online Meeting Information

Zoom session will be open starting at 11:50am.
Presentation will begin at 12:00pm.

At least 4 polling questions will be launched via Zoom throughout the CPE session to track attendance and participation throughout the event. Participation is required for CPE certificates to be issued.

If you have any trouble with the Zoom poll questions, please let the Admin know in the Zoom chat or email your response to [email protected] for alternate attendance credit. CPE certificates and an event evaluation will be emailed within 48 hours after the event.
