Please join us for our annual Members Meeting and April CPE Luncheon! Note the updated schedule for this session! Our brief annual members meeting and vote for 2026-2027 officers will take place before the CPE sessions begin.
We welcome Greg D. Jones, CPA to present 2 hours of Ethics - AICPA Code of Conduct as a CPA's Moral Compass and Jacob Kern, CPA presenting AI In Action: How to Make AI Work for Accountants.

Speaker Bio: As a member of the AICPA and OSCPA since 1991, Greg served as a volunteer presenter for dozens of CPE sessions for both the OSCPA and TCOSPA, including Ethics. Greg, with fellow TCOSCPA Board members, created and presented two 12-hour CPE series that focused on board cohesion, managing board member liability, and issues surrounding non-profit consensus and corporate governance. Greg also served as past TCOSCPA Secretary and President, earing the Chapter’s nomination for the OSCPA distinguished CPA award in 2018.

- Identify practical AI tools and use cases applicable to accounting workflows, including associated risks
- Apply effective prompting techniques to improve the reliability of AI-assisted work products
- Understand best practices for maintaining client data confidentiality when utilizing various AI tools
- Evaluate when AI agents and repeatable workflows are appropriate, while maintaining professional judgement and oversight

Speaker Bio: Jacob Kern is an Assurance Manager with Forvis Mazars, based in the Tulsa, OK office. He works primarily in the commercial, health care, and business-type governmental activities sectors, managing audits and advising clients on financial reporting and compliance matters across the state. Jacob is actively involved in firmwide AI initiatives and focuses on practical, responsible applications of AI to improve audit quality and efficiency. He has presented at multiple training seminars on emerging technology topics for accounting professionals and is currently serving as the CPE Committee Chair for the Tulsa Chapter of the OSCPA.
CPE Credits are based on a 50-minute hour. State boards of accounting have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Attendee accepts responsibility to determine if course meets acceptable guidelines set forth by their reporting authority. Complaints regarding any CPE presentation should be directed to [email protected].
Refund Policy: Full refund by original method of payment if cancellation is received by 4pm on the Friday preceding the event.

Make sure to sign in at the registration table. CPE certificates will only be issued to attendees that have signed in.
CPE certificates and an event evaluation will be issued via email within 48 hours after the event.
If you are not feeling well on the day of the event, please let us know and you are welcome to switch to the Zoom presentation.

At least 4 polling questions will be launched via Zoom during each CPE hour to track attendance and participation throughout the event. Participation is required for CPE certificates to be issued.
