  • Speaker Bio: John A. Wright was elected Tulsa County Assessor and officially took office on December 1, 2018. Prior to his election, John served with the assessor’s office for eight years. Before joining the assessor’s office, Mr. Wright was a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives serving House District 76 for twelve years. He was Chairman of the Government Oversight & Administrative Rules Committee for six years as well as serving the majority caucus as Caucus Chairmen for two terms. Mr. Wright has received the Assessment Administration Specialist designation by the International Association of Assessing Officers. He also holds an inactive Oklahoma Real Estate broker’s license having been a member of the local Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors for ten years. He and his wife Debbie have one daughter and have made Broken Arrow their home for over twenty-five years.

CPE Credits are based on a 50-minute hour. State boards of accounting have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Attendee accepts responsibility to determine if course meets acceptable guidelines set forth by their reporting authority.
